Hours and booking

Poppins is hourly drop-in childcare in Lehi, Utah, for kids 6 weeks to 12 years. You book by the hour in the app and pay only for the time you book. No contracts, no memberships.

• Visits have a 1.5-hour minimum.
• Day running long? Extend from the app in 30-minute blocks, as long as there is room.
• Hours can shift for holidays and events. The app always shows the live schedule, and the contact page keeps the current week posted.

Pricing and fees

Care is priced by the hour and by age. Current rates are always on the pricing page and in the app before you confirm, so there is never a surprise at checkout. The fees below are every fee we have.

• One-time registration: $15, charged once with your family's first booking.
• Sibling discount: 20% off for every child after your first, applied automatically.
• Last-minute bookings: visits that start within 24 hours include a $5 fee.
• Late pickup: there is a 5-minute grace period after your booked end time. Past that, late pickup bills at $2 per minute to the card on file. Extending in the app ahead of time is always cheaper.
• Meals are an optional add-on, priced in the meals section below.

Cancellations and rescheduling

Plans change. Here is exactly how that works, by the clock:

• Reschedule free up to 24 hours before your visit starts.
• Cancel 24 or more hours before start and your payment goes back to your card.
• Cancel inside 24 hours and your payment comes back as Poppins credit, applied automatically toward a future visit.
• You can cancel in the app until 15 minutes before start. No cancellation fees, ever.
• If Poppins ever has to cancel on you, we tell you as soon as we know and refund the booking in full.

Meals and snacks

Meals are optional, allergy-aware, and easiest to add when you book. Tell us about allergies in your child's profile and we plan around them.

• Booked ahead: $3.50 per meal, per child.
• Added day-of: $5 per meal, per child.
• Mealtimes are short and shared, so all the kids eat together: breakfast 8 to 8:30 AM, lunch 11 to 11:30 AM, dinner 5 to 5:30 PM. Everyone eats at mealtime, so if your child is there for one of those blocks, plan on one or the other: add a meal when you book, or send one from home.
• Booked around the mealtimes instead? Snacks come around often enough that nobody goes hungry.
• Infants under 1 must arrive with their food: bottles, formula or labeled stored breast milk, and baby food for the day. This is a licensing requirement, and infants without food cannot check in. Because they bring their own, infants are never charged for a Poppins meal.

What to bring

The short version: socks, supplies for the littles, and anything that makes your kid feel at home. Label what you can so everything makes it home.

• Socks, for everyone. Poppins is a shoe-free space and shoes come off at the door. Forgot them? Socks are available for purchase at the front.
• A labeled water bottle, or use one of ours. We have plenty.
• Diapers, wipes, and a change of clothes for potty trainers and younger. Enough for the length of the visit.
• For infants: bottles, formula or labeled stored breast milk, baby food, and a pacifier if they take one.
• A comfort item if your child has one. Stuffies are welcome.

Drop-off and pickup

• Check-in uses a door code that arrives with your booking confirmation.
• Children are released only to the people you have authorized, and we check government-issued ID every time.
• Add or remove pickup people any time in the app.
• Please stay reachable by phone during your child's visit. It is how we reach you fast if anything comes up.
• Running late? Extend from the app. Pickups more than 5 minutes past your booked end time bill at $2 per minute.

Health, illness, and immunizations

• Every child needs a current immunization record on file before their first visit. Upload it in the app; caregivers check it at drop-off. Utah parents can pull records from the Docket app.
• Keep your child home if they have had a fever, vomiting, diarrhea, a rash, or other signs of contagious illness in the past 24 hours. We may decline care in those cases, for everyone's sake.
• If your child becomes ill during a visit, we call you right away for pickup.
• Medications: caregivers can give medication only with a completed medication authorization form and the medication in its original labeled container.
• In an emergency, caregivers call 911 first and you immediately after. Details are in the Terms of Service.

Supervision and safety

The full safety story lives on the safety page. The facts:

• Licensed by the State of Utah and staffed to licensed ratios all day.
• Kids are grouped Under 2 and 2-and-Over, as Utah licensing requires. When ages mix, a caregiver is right there.
• Every caregiver is a W-2 employee, background checked, and CPR and First Aid certified.
• Continuous video and audio monitoring in every care area. Never in restrooms or diapering areas.

Photos and videos

• Caregivers may send you photos and short videos of your child during a visit, through the app.
• They are shared only with you. We never use them for marketing, social media, or anything public without your separate written consent.
• Kept for 12 months by default. Ask, and we delete them sooner.
• You can opt your child out of photos entirely, any time.
